Who We Are

The Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation was established in 2001 in Hudson, Ohio, as a private grantmaking foundation. Peg Morgan's husband, Burton D. Morgan, provided the initial donation that established the foundation and put into motion plans to carry out Peg's decades-long desire to help families grappling with mental illness.

Peg has generously contributed both time and treasure to causes important to her – most notably, mental health, education and the arts. Thus, our primary focus of support is the mental health field, with secondary interest in education and the arts.

Fulfilling Our Mission

Since our founding, we have steadfastly kept our sights on fulfilling the interests of our founder, a longtime Hudson resident, active community member and compassionate advocate of change. Throughout the years, Peg has been both the compass and conscience of the foundation that bears her name, always guiding our thinking and challenging convention.

Our mission: To improve the lives of people with serious mental illness by investing in innovative projects in Northeast Ohio having national transformational impact.
